This is a nice facility for independent and assisted living. Nice, newer facility. Seems well built and modern yet with old school decor. It basically looks like a hotel. Plenty of parking with a large roundabout driveway for easy access in and out of the building. Very tall ceilings, much higher than that in a typical house. I only went through a portion of the facility but I did see activity “alcoves” off of the corridors. Some of these alcoves had puzzles, games, and even billiard tables. I didn’t get to see the dining room, heard the food was pretty good. It seems like a nice safe place for an elderly person to reside. I believe there are organized activities for the residents, so they can have a bit of a social life if they so choose. I visited the interior of a single bedroom model. The kitchen and living room area were of good size. There was also a large bathroom and a really big closet. The bedroom was suitable, could have been a few feet wider. There was a lot of natural light coming in through multiple windows. It also had a closet with stacked washer and dryer. Everything appeared clean except for the carpet. You can see they cleaned the carpet but it’s worn and has stains. These facilities are not inexpensive by any means, actually they cost a lot of money every month. Anyhow, we’ll see how it goes and if Indigo does provide the services to the level that they claim, I’m inclined to say yes. At the end of the day I do believe my elderly relative will be good living here. I’ll be visiting again so I’ll provide an update if I come across anything new.

“Update 01/2026”, my relative has been living here for six months now and it has treated him very well. The place really takes care of their tenants. The food is actually pretty good. You have a fairly large selection from which to choose breakfast, lunch, and dinner. At least I don’t need to worry about nutrition and if he has something healthy to eat. The tenants really look out and help one another. It’s a very healthy place for my older relative to live. He has become surrounded by people who care about one another and are experienced enough to understand the value of life and unfortunately the feeling of having had a great loss of a beloved lifelong partner. I wish knowledge of the human experience didn’t come at such a high price but it is through loss that we gain the most of ourselves. I’m glad my father is at Indigo, it makes him live in the present and not obsess about the past or worry about the future. Making new friends is good, caring for others is great, and living in peace with all your needs met is a superb way to finish this experience of time that we call life.
